All about Glasgow International Airport

Located around seven miles from the city centre, Glasgow Airport is Scotland's second busiest facility behind Edinburgh and the UK's eighth busiest in total. Handling more than 8.7 million passengers in 2016, Glasgow is the principal transatlantic and direct long-haul entry airport into Scotland. British Airways is the facility's largest tenant, along with Flybe, easyJet, Jet2, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways. The airport's busiest international routes are to Dubai International and Amsterdam Schipol, with flights to Heathrow and Gatwick topping the domestic roster.

Glasgow Airport is conveniently located on the M8 at junction 28. Choose post code PA3 2SW when using satnav.

On Arrival

Simply Park & Fly Ltd does not take vehicles from any airport, instead the service provider (see below) looks after the vehicle, while parked in their secured car park compound. You need to follow the instructions below for Park and Ride/ Meet and Greet service on your departure and return day. All the instruction (telephone number as well) will be sent to your email account once the booking is made. NOTE: It’s illegal to use phone while driving. It is the responsibilty of the driver/customer to follow the UK Driving and transport LAW and stop at a safer place to make or take a call.​

• FROM ST JAMES INTERCHANGE: (J29 M8 East), take the exit for Glasgow Airport. Turn into the one way system, ensuring youmove into the right hand lane. At the 1st set of traffic lights turn right. Proceed to the next r'bout turn left ontoSt Andrews Drive. At next r'bout turn right onto White Cart Rd. At next r'bout turn left onto Sanderling Parkway. Atnext r'bout turn left onto Abbotsinch Rd. At next r'bout turn right onto Arran Ave where you will see the car park.
• From Glasgow City Centre & East: Take Glasgow Airport exit (J28 M8 West), ensuring you are in right lane on slip road.At r'bout turn right onto Sanderling Parkway. At next r'bout go straight across. Next r'bout turn left onto AbbotsinchRd. At next r'bout turn right onto Arran Ave where you will see car park.

Note:

• Transfers run every 5-10 minutes 24 hours a day and take approximately 5 minutes.
• Park Mark - Safer Parking Award. This car park has CCTV, security fencing and is manned 24 hrs and frequently patrolled.
• Stay_Restrictions:Minimum stay/charges may apply at this car park at certain times of the year.
• A convenient parking choice located close to the Airport with frequent transfers.
• Assistance may be available for disabled drivers and passengers.

On Return

• At the exit please insert your entry ticket for your booking to be validated.
• The customer can amend a Flexible booking 48hrs before the departure day. No return date will be modified once the vehicle has been dropped off with the service provider. If the customer stays longer than pre-booked days, then he/she will incur an additional charge as per the standard tariff for the carpark. The customer will be prompted for an extra payment at the exit barrier in case of Park and Ride / On Airport Parking and will be need to pay using the Chip & Pin device. In case of Meet and Greet, the customer will be charged by the driver on the return day.
