"As far as the Meet and Greet experience went it was very good. I did note that the written return instruction differs from that given when phoning in - Car park 5 is not used at present; car park 6 is used. Although not the responsibility of Simply Parking, I had some disquiet when the exit barrier opened as I approached and not when the payment ticket was placed in machine. Having once been wrongly accused of leaving my car in the car park for over 3 months when the system failed to record its exit, we returned for an explanation and assurance that a repeat problem would not arise. Car park customer relations staff assured us that all was well as the VRN recognition cameras were proof of entry and exit. If the exit procedure no longer requires use of the payment receipt to get out, it would be helpful for clients to know; equally, if there was a glitch with the system I would expect that the SP drivers would be aware of that and tell customers to drive on."
